Founded in 1979, Child Educational Center is an innovative, nationally-accredited early care and education organization located in La Canada Flintridge, California and Pasadena, California. With its pioneering focus on progressive education and outdoor learning, CEC offers a nature-based program where children can play and learn about the world around them. They encourage children to develop increasing and age-appropriate levels of self-sufficiency and responsibility. CEC's programs, serving nearly 900 children daily at seven sites, have been leading in early childhood education for over four decades.
