Diana's Family Daycare

What do you do when it’s time to find that special team to care for your infant or toddler?

If you’re very lucky, you find an opening at Diana’s Family Daycare. Our first meeting with Diana answered all of our “nervous new-parent” questions and concerns. We left that meeting certain that we had found the right fit for our five-month-old. It was obvious to us that Diana and her team created a loving, caring and safe environment for the children to enjoy. Diana also demonstrated enormous flexibility when it came to dealing with the sometimes unpredictable schedules of working parents. Diana gets it, and sometimes really went the extra mile.

Most importantly, Diana saw our daughter (and, I believe, each child) for the individual she is. She ensured age-appropriate development: from tummy time to walking to running to group play to drawing to reading and writing. We felt both safe and fortunate dropping her off with Diana every day. Perhaps most telling, our daughter is now a “graduate” of Diana’s Family Daycare, but she and Diana continue their friendship after school and on weekends. As parents, we love the continuing positive influence Diana has on her.

Our daughter attended Dianas Family Daycare from 4 months to 2.5 years, when we moved. She was very well-cared for and truly thrived during this time. She was happy to arrive at daycare every morning! Diana and her staff are lovingly devoted to the childrens well-being. They supported us with big milestones like starting solids (and then served home-cooked meals) and potty training, and also included a variety of daily activities like art, singing, and exploring multiple parks in the area, visiting the aquarium and Exploratorium, all in a bilingual English and Spanish environment. Diana is easily reachable throughout the day and sends photo updates periodically. We highly recommend Dianas Family Daycare!

It’ll be 3 years as we started at Diana’s daycare with our oldest daughter and when our younger daughter was turning 4 months, we wanted to make sure Diana had a spot for us. Diana and her family have been nothing but wonderful. We trust them like our own family and both of our girls love them so much. I wouldn’t wish for better caretakers for our girls and appreciate them so much.

Diana and her team were so loving to our son! He went to Diana’s M-F from age 6 months to 2 years and left only because we moved out of state. The team communicates mainly by text and are flexible about accommodating schedule changes and always ready to provide after-hours care when we need it. They spend lots of time outside all over North Beach and beyond. Our son got to know his neighborhood, made great friends, learned tons of songs, ate well, and now understands an impressive amount of Spanish! Most of all, he was happy there. We will miss Diana and her team terribly!

Diana’s daycare has been a godsend for our family! We’ve been with them for over 3 years now and the amount of love and attention they give to our two babies is so wonderful—both of our kids didn’t cry on their first days which is a testament to how amazing they are with children. They also take them on adventures all around North Beach everyday so they get to experience so much than just a play room. Our kids come home content with big smiles every day. They are also wizards and effortlessly get our little ones to take long naps and eat their vegetables 😆 (whereas we struggle with both so much at home!!!). Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a loving environment for their babies and toddlers.
