Founded in 1970, South of Market Child Care, Inc. is a non-profit agency based in San Francisco, dedicated to providing quality early childhood development and family support services. With diverse programs at their Yerba Buena Gardens, Judith Baker Child Development Centers, and the South of Market Family Resource Center, they serve more than 1,000 children, youth, and adults each year. Their team of highly qualified staff, who hold bachelor's or higher degrees in early childhood education or child development, offer a range of programs that foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Recognized for their commitment to the community, they have received a Mayor's Certificate of Honor and have been a Mimi & Peter Haas Foundation Model Child Development Center since 2005.
