Founded in 1974, The Nest - Center for Women, Children, and Families is based in Lexington, Kentucky and extends its services to surrounding areas. It offers a safe haven for children and families in crisis by providing childcare, counseling services, and parenting classes. The Nest focuses on preventing physical and sexual abuse and neglect of children while also stabilizing the family unit. In addition, it offers both temporary and long-term childcare focused on physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
