Lake Country School

Lake Country School, founded in 1976 and located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is a pioneering institution in Montessori education. It offers a comprehensive Montessori education from pre-school through junior high, fostering independence, critical thinking, and creativity within each child. Lake Country School was the first in Minnesota to introduce programs for 9-12-year-olds and a Montessori junior high program. In addition to the urban campus, they also provide a rural experience through their 160-acre farm in Wisconsin. The focus is on promoting diversity, inclusion, respect, and responsibility.
