About
Founded in 1991, Idlewild Baptist Child Development Center serves the Matthews, North Carolina area and beyond. As a faith-based daycare with a mission rooted in Idlewild Baptist Church, the center provides comprehensive early care and educational programs for children aged six weeks to five years. The Center's diverse offerings range from infant care focused on exploration and trust-building to a kindergarten-preparation preschool program. In addition to these, an after-school program with homework assistance is available for school-age children. The center operates daily from 6:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.
