Tucker Maxon School Extended Care

Tucker Maxon School, founded in 1947 and located in Portland, Oregon, is a nationally acclaimed oral education institution for both hearing impaired and typical hearing children. Established by Harvard-trained attorney, Paul Boley, and sponsored by Cascades Plywood Corporation's president, Max Tucker, the school's dedicated approach enables deaf children to listen, talk, and learn like their typical hearing peers. Beyond the traditional curriculum, Tucker Maxon School also offers daily physical education, weekly art and music classes, and maintains an open range coop and organic garden for students' active participation.
