About
Founded in 1959 by Dr. Eleanor Siegl in Bellevue, Washington, The Little School is a progressive institution located on a beautiful 12.5-acre campus. The school's approach centers around treating each child as an individual, actively involving them in the learning process, and nurturing their curiosity. The Little School, approved by the Washington State Board of Education, also places a strong emphasis on developing interpersonal skills, confidence, and multicultural awareness among students. With the classroom extending to the outdoors, children are given plenty of opportunities to appreciate and study the natural world.
