About
IPC Day School in Birmingham, AL, is a preschool founded in 1965 as a ministry of Independent Presbyterian Church. It provides early childhood education within a Christian environment for children from six months of age through Five-Year-Old Kindergarten (5K). The regular school year runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., from late August to mid-May. Class placement follows age requirements that must be met by September 1.
The school offers a comprehensive curriculum that nurtures the whole child through varied learning experiences and settings. Online registration for the upcoming school year opens each January, with priority given to current families and church members before enrollment opens to the general public.
IPC Day School also operates the APPLE Summer Camp, featuring six weekly sessions in June and July from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The camp serves children from six months of age (as of June 1) through completed 5K, with age requirements for 18-month toddler through 5K classes met by September 1. Summer registration opens each spring and is first-come, first-served. A HERO Scholarship Fund is available.
