About
Lincoln Village Ministry, founded in 2002 and based in Huntsville, AL, is a faith-based nonprofit serving the Lincoln community, a 1.5-mile neighborhood near downtown. The organization advances holistic neighborhood transformation through education, housing, and comprehensive resident support. Its schools—Lincoln Academy and Little Linc—operate within the community and provide year-round education from preschool through high school, including K–8, high school, after-school, and summer programs.
The ministry also acquires and renovates homes to offer safe, affordable housing for families. A coordinated team of field staff, neighborhood coordinators, and transition support helps residents address immediate needs and pursue long-term stability. Community involvement through volunteering and partnerships strengthens program delivery and reach.
Lincoln Village Ministry’s stated mission is to help people experience restoration and redemption through a transforming relationship with Christ. By integrating schooling, housing, and family services, the organization works to move families from surviving to thriving and to replicate its neighborhood-focused model in other parts of Huntsville.
