The Heritage Church I - Research Park

Heritage Preschool – Research Park provides faith-based early education and child care for children 6 weeks to 6 years in Huntsville, AL, at 7015 Cabela Drive. Family-owned by the Vanns with more than two decades of experience, the campus guides infants, toddlers, and preschoolers through developmental milestones with a clear focus on kindergarten readiness.

The program blends the Abeka curriculum with elements of classical instruction and Scripture-based character development to support spiritual, physical, social, and academic growth. Teachers complete background checks and ongoing training. The campus operates Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Children learn in purpose-built classrooms and secure outdoor spaces. Safety measures include high-definition cameras, ProCare biometric check-in, coded keypads, Raptor visitor screening, secure fencing, and CPR-trained staff. An on-site cook prepares breakfast, lunch, and snacks daily, with accommodations for allergies and sensitivities.

Daily experiences include age-appropriate play, music and art, and baby signing for younger learners. Optional weekly on-campus enrichments such as ballet, soccer, karate, and LeapStar Sports are available. Heritage campuses have been recognized by families with awards including Best of Hoover, Best of Shelby County, Best of Homewood, Best of Jefferson County, Family Favorite, Best of Birmingham Kids and Family, and Parent’s Choice.
