About
Montessori World is an early childhood education center in Mobile, Alabama, serving children ages 3–6 with programs from preschool through kindergarten. Guided by the Montessori method, the school offers flexible scheduling with half-day, full-day, and extended care options. Its purpose-built environment is designed for child safety and independence, and the program is ADA-compliant to support various special needs.
Montessori-trained and certified teachers guide students through core areas of practical life, sensorial exploration, language, mathematics, and cultural studies, including science, art, and music. The curriculum incorporates instruction in two foreign languages—Spanish and German—to broaden language development at an early age.
The program emphasizes each child’s growth in independence, self-confidence, and a positive attitude toward learning within a diverse community. Montessori World is licensed by the Alabama Department of Human Resources and is an approved provider for military families through Child Care Aware and Operation: Military Child Care.
