Just Like Home Daycare & Preschool, founded in 1989 and based in Phoenix, AZ, is a family-owned and operated early childhood education provider with centers in Phoenix, Mesa, and Scottsdale. It offers part-time and full-time care for infants through school-age children up to 12 years old. Programs are developmentally tailored: infant care focuses on security and social interaction; toddler classrooms emphasize routines, language, and self-help skills; preschool prepares children for kindergarten with hands-on learning in literacy, math, and social-emotional skills; and school-age care supports homework and enrichment.
All centers are licensed and regulated by the Arizona Department of Health Services and monitored by the Maricopa County Environmental Services Department. They participate in the Arizona Department of Education’s Child and Adult Care Food Program, serving daily breakfast, lunch, and snacks; infant formula, cereal, and baby food are included. Staff hold fingerprint clearance and background checks, maintain TB testing, CPR/First Aid certification, food handler cards, and complete at least 18 hours of annual training. Parents are welcome during business hours under an open-door policy.
The provider welcomes children with minor disabilities and can coordinate evaluations with speech, occupational, physical, and mental health therapists. Location-specific services include transportation to and from local schools and seasonal field trips at the Mesa center.
