First Experiences Preschool is a Christian preschool in Bakersfield, California, located on the campus of First United Methodist Church. Serving children ages 2 to 6, it offers full- and half-day classes with extended care before and after school. Programs include preschool, pre‑K, and kindergarten, using the ABEKA curriculum to support growth across social, physical, creative, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual domains. Class sizes are kept smaller to provide more individualized attention.
As a ministry of First United Methodist Church, the preschool focuses on preparing children for academic success while nurturing Christian character. Enrollment is open without discrimination regarding sex, race, color, or religious or political belief, provided the school can meet the child’s needs.
