Planet Kids Christian Preschool is a faith-based early childhood program in Modesto, CA, and a ministry of The House Modesto. The preschool serves children ages 2 to 6 in a family-oriented Christian environment and operates year-round with special summer activities. The program integrates a developmentally appropriate Bible curriculum with foundational academics, including letter recognition and sounds, numbers, shapes, colors, directional words, and reading readiness. Students participate in weekly chapel services and daily Bible time.
Classrooms follow consistent daily schedules and offer age-appropriate, group learning activities that build spiritual, physical, social, emotional, and intellectual foundations. To support working families, the center provides extended hours Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:45 PM.
Teachers are Christian educators with training and experience. Communication with parents is maintained through an app that shares daily updates, monthly events, and photos. The school provides healthy snacks in the morning and afternoon. Families may send lunches from home or order hot lunches for an additional charge; lunches brought from home are not refrigerated or heated. Prospective families are encouraged to visit and learn more about the program and its approach to early learning within a Christian framework.
