The Beginning Zone Child Development Center

Hello ,

My name is Elma Reynolds, and would first like to say that this Childcare Center accepts all subsidies .i.e. ( Crystal Stairs , Children Home Society, Drew Childcare , MOAF, Foster kids , etc. ). I am passionate about childcare and always have been. I am a 2nd generation caregiver as my mother’s love for children dedicated her to this field as well. Growing up in a large family provided me with experience in babysitting for neighboring families during my teenage years. This has contributed to my professional development.

Previously, I managed a major Federal Credit Union for 22 years. Although I shifted my focus to childcare, my commitment to working with families to achieve lifetime goals has remained the same. I have been an exemplary childcare provider since 2009 and extended my commitment, leading me to the grand opening of my preschool in 2017.

Working with kids has been the most rewarding experience of my life as I learn something new every day from them. I love being around their young souls and eager minds, giving me joy to teach them and watch them flourish.

Caring for children has become second nature to me, and I know the value of Early Childhood education. I hold a bachelor’s degree in business management and possess a Director's Permit in Early Childhood Education. I now own a Daycare in Gardena California , and a childcare center in Long Beach California . I love my work, and it shows in the students who attend both locations.
