About
Sophie’s love of teaching comes from a family of educators. Born and raised in Côte d'Ivoire, her father was a university professor and her mother a teacher. After studying Law for three years, she moved to the U.S. with her husband, who has a PhD in biomedical engineering. They have two daughters and one son.
In the U.S., Sophie studied Business Administration and is working toward a bachelor’s degree in education, focusing on child development. Passionate and open-minded, Sophie decided to open her own child care center to make a meaningful impact.
Her passion for teaching began at 13 when she played “teacher” with young children. She believes children ages 0-5 learn best through curiosity and hands-on care.
With infants, Sophie emphasizes a loving, safe environment and uses sensory activities, infant massage, and interactive reading to support development. She follows programs like Montessori and Birth to Three Matters to nurture each baby’s unique growth.
Sophie’s teaching philosophy encourages exploration and discovery, aiming to help every child feel safe, supported, and eager to learn.
