4Cs Apples & Bananas Child Development Center provides licensed early care and education in Southwest Santa Rosa, CA, at 950 Sebastopol Rd. As part of 4Cs Sonoma County (Community Child Care Council), established in 1972, the center offers developmentally appropriate preschool and child care with full-day, full-year options for children ages 2–5, including free and low-cost programs for eligible families. Through 4Cs, families can also access referrals to child care for children from birth to age 12 and assistance with paying for care.
Core supports available through the 4Cs network include Resource & Referral services, Early Care & Education Services, and Child Health & Nutrition. As the regional sponsor of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) in Sonoma, Marin, and Napa counties, 4Cs provides nutrition guidance, training, and meal reimbursements for licensed providers, promoting healthy eating in care settings. Providers receive help with licensing and quality improvement.
