About
Morning Glory Early Learning Center LLC is a licensed, NAEYC-accredited early care and education program in New Haven, Connecticut. Founded in 1991, the center serves children from 6 weeks through preschool across two locations. The Chapel Street site serves preschoolers ages 3–5, and the Parmelee Avenue site serves infants and toddlers ages 6 weeks to 3 years as well as preschool-aged children. Programs include infant-toddler care, preschool, and summer camp in a family-engaged environment.
Curricula are based on the Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers and Twos and the Creative Curriculum for Preschool, providing comprehensive, developmentally appropriate, active learning experiences. Morning Glory Early Learning Center LLC operates as a private, for-profit program.
The teaching team includes a director, head teachers, teachers, assistants, and a cook. Primary teachers hold degrees and have experience in Early Childhood Education; assistants hold or are pursuing Child Development Associate (CDA) credentials. All staff complete continuing education annually, with training and technical assistance from New Haven Public Schools to support school readiness. Families and staff provide feedback through annual NAEYC surveys, and results inform ongoing quality improvement.
