West Lakes Early Learning Center is an AdventHealth-affiliated early childhood education program in Orlando, Florida, serving children from six weeks to 5 years of age and their families. The center combines high-quality early learning with comprehensive health, wellness, and social services. Its curriculum blends AdventHealth’s CREATION Life principles with Primrose Schools’ Balanced Learning approach, emphasizing purposeful play guided by experienced teachers.
Services include on-site health screenings to track developmental milestones, health and wellness programs, social support, and early literacy outreach. Families receive regular email updates with daily reports, photos, lesson plans, and notes from teachers. Each child is provided breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack, with accommodations for special diets. Safety measures include frequent handwashing, toy sanitization, and daily professional cleaning.
The center welcomes families across income levels, participates in Community Coordinated Care for Children (4C) services, and offers Florida VPK programs. Tuition assistance is available based on need, and operations are largely supported by philanthropy. West Lakes Early Learning Center is led by Center Director Alfreda Clark and supported by founding partners AdventHealth for Children, Bainum Family Foundation, Lift Orlando, and Primrose Schools. Hours of operation are 6:30 am to 6:30 pm.
