About
Montessori Early Learning Center is a Montessori-inspired preschool in Tampa, FL, serving families across Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties. Under new ownership since March 2025, the privately owned, family-run school is operated by James and Janean Davis. The center provides a nurturing, structured environment where children learn through hands-on, self-directed activities that build independence, curiosity, and strong academic and social-emotional skills.
Programs include Toddlers, Preschool, Kindergarten, and Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK), with flexible options such as morning-only and part-time (three days per week). Montessori Early Learning Center participates in Florida’s VPK and is a contracted School Readiness provider; Step Up For Students is also supported. The curriculum features phonics-based instruction, a year-round literacy program with summer enrichment, and a Summer Camp.
Facilities include new playground areas, and the team includes Spanish-speaking teachers. The school emphasizes continuity of care with low teacher turnover and encourages parent involvement through volunteer opportunities and community events. Open Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM.
