Central Union Church Preschool and Kindergarten in Honolulu, HI, has served Oahu’s families since 1928. This Christian-based early childhood program supports the spiritual, cognitive, socio-emotional, and physical development of young children in a safe, caring setting. Certified educators lead the classrooms, and the school emphasizes a collaborative approach among teachers, staff, and families.
Programs include the ‘Ohana Toddler Program for 2-year-olds with part-time and full-time options, and a Preschool program for ages 3–5 across eight classrooms. The regular school day runs from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with before- and after-school care available. A five-week summer session and extracurricular activities—such as ukulele, Amazing Athletes, and Soccer Shots—extend learning beyond the school day. Nearly 200 families participate each year.
