KCAA Mother Rice Preschool

KCAA Mother Rice Preschool, located in Honolulu’s Moʻiliʻili neighborhood, is one of KCAA Preschools of Hawaii’s three Oahu campuses. The school serves children ages 2 to 5 through Early Learning (2–3), Preschool (3–4), and Pre‑K (4–5) classes. Its curriculum and assessment system emphasize kindergarten readiness, including social development, language and communication, creative expression, critical thinking and problem‑solving, physical and self‑help skills, health and safety awareness, and appreciation of community and cultural diversity.

All KCAA centers, including Mother Rice, are licensed by the State of Hawaii and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). KCAA Preschools is an affiliate member of the Hawaii Association of Independent Schools (HAIS).

Families are supported with the Procare portal for account access and school-related management, as well as tuition aid resources; the program accepts POD and other assistance. With more than a century of service through KCAA Preschools of Hawaii, the Mother Rice campus provides a consistent, nurturing early education experience within a network that also includes campuses in Hawaii Kai and Kakaʻako.
