About
The Cole Academy - Honolulu is the Downtown Honolulu campus of The Cole Academy, providing nationally accredited early childhood education and childcare for children ages 6 weeks through 6 years. Located at 800 Bethel Street at Queen’s Court in Honolulu, HI, the campus operates year-round, Monday through Friday, from 6:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Programs follow a milestone-based model with age groupings for Infants, Wobblers (12–21 months), Toddlers (22–30 months), Preschool, and Junior Kindergarten. Children advance through intentional transitions aligned to developmental milestones, typically in summer. The research-informed, whole-child curriculum includes early reading and math, science, sign and foreign language, music, movement, social skills, field trips, and structured kindergarten readiness. During instructional times, typical staff-to-child ratios are up to 1:3 for Infants, 1:4 for Wobblers, 1:6 for Toddlers, and 1:8 for Preschool/JrK.
The Cole Academy is nationally accredited through NECPA and is family-owned and locally operated. Safety and communication measures include interior and exterior digital video surveillance, biometric fingerprint access at urban sites, and parent updates via the LineLeader system. Health protocols require up-to-date immunizations, a Daily Wellness Greeting each morning, consultation with physician and nurse advisers, and professional daily sanitization. Full-time and part-time enrollment options are available to support family schedules.
