Blessings Care for Kids is a child care center in West Des Moines, Iowa, located inside Grace West Church. Founded in 2015, the program began with school-age care and expanded in 2019 to include infants and toddlers. It offers infant, toddler, preschool, and school-age programs with part-time, full-time, and summer options, along with transportation services to several local schools and preschools.
The center provides a play-based learning environment that supports each child’s social, physical, and cognitive development, preparing children for preschool, kindergarten, and elementary school. A family-first approach and personalized attention guide daily care, with curriculum adapted to individual needs.
Blessings Care for Kids underwent a change in ownership in 2023 while maintaining its commitment to high-quality care. In 2025, it received BusinessRate’s “Best of 2025” award for the best child care agency in West Des Moines.
