Peanut Montessori is a Montessori school in the Broad Ripple neighborhood of Indianapolis, IN, offering Infant, Toddler, and Primary programs that emphasize kindness and practical life skills in a calm, developmentally aligned environment where children learn at their own pace. The Infant Program serves children from 12 weeks to 14 months and prioritizes freedom of movement, responsive sleep on floor beds, independent feeding at weaning tables, natural materials, and gentle guidance. Families can choose 2, 3, or 5 full days, with typical hours of 8–8:30 AM drop-off and 3:30–4 PM pick-up. Toddler and Primary programs offer 2, 3, or 5 day schedules, with half-day options available in Toddler.
The school was created by Founder and Head of School Nina Robinson, a MACTE-certified Montessori teacher and Indiana University graduate. Program leadership includes Infant Program Director and Lead Guide Emily Land, Toddler Program Director and Lead Guide Laine Alexander, and Primary Program Director and Lead Guide Maddy Willis, who is MACTE certified. Peanut Montessori is currently full for the 2025–2026 school year. Enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year opens in February 2026, with a waitlist available.
