WSU Child Development Center

WSU Child Development Center in Wichita, KS provides licensed early childhood education and childcare for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. Serving families of Wichita State University students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the broader community, the center is located on the WSU campus.

All lead teachers meet or exceed Kansas licensing standards and participate in ongoing professional development. Class sizes are kept small, and lesson plans are tailored to each child’s learning style to support developmentally appropriate growth. Family engagement is built into the program through regular parent meetings and information nights.

The center operates Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and emphasizes accessibility and affordability.
