About
University Baptist Church Early Learning Center in Baton Rouge, LA provides a Christ-centered early childhood program for toddlers through pre-kindergarten. The center maintains small student–teacher ratios and focuses on nurturing each child’s physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual development in a safe, supportive setting.
ELC operates September through May with classes Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Families apply through a digital form; a non-refundable registration fee of $250 ($225 for a second child) accompanies the application, and checks are processed once a space is confirmed. Tuition can be paid in full or in nine monthly installments. Program options include Toddlers and Twos (2, 3, or 4 days per week), Three-Year-Olds (3 or 4 days per week), and Four-Year-Olds Pre-Kindergarten (4 days per week). A $25 per month sibling discount is available, along with a $75 per-child curriculum fee for 2’s, 3’s, and 4’s classes, a $75 per-child resource fee for all classes, and optional $75 camera system access.
The curriculum uses the All Ready Curriculum by Mary Ann Girard, combining teacher-directed instruction with child-centered exploration. Children engage in hands-on learning centers such as art and music, dramatic play, library, blocks and construction, writing, manipulatives and puzzles, and sensory and science.
