About
Holy Anointed House of Prayer Early Learning Center (HAHOP ELC) is a faith-centered early childhood program in the Columbia Park neighborhood of New Orleans, Louisiana. Founded in 2024, the center serves children ages 6 weeks to 4 years with low pupil-to-teacher ratios and individualized care across creative, cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and spiritual development. Classrooms include Lambs (6 weeks–1 year), Doves (1–2 years), and Eagles (3–4 years), along with after-school care for students in grades K–12.
HAHOP ELC implements The Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers & Twos and develops weekly lesson plans aligned to developmental milestones, including integrated goals and supports for children with disabilities. Learning is embedded throughout the day through play, routines, and peer interaction. Staff credentials include Child Development Associate (CDA), Early Childhood Ancillary Certificate (ECAC), associate degrees in Early Childhood Education, and a master’s degree in Educational Administration.
The center currently accepts private pay and children transferring who already qualify for Child Care Assistance (CCAP), with full CCAP enrollment planned for the 2026–2027 academic year. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
