Circletime Academy was established in 2000. At the time, I had only two students enrolled. Their parents had actually followed me from my former school Busy Bee Daycare. I had been the lead teacher there for years. This being our 25th year, we have developed and maintained quite a phenomenal program. Presently, we have one Lead Teacher, Ana Figueroa, and one Assisstant Teacher, Maryse Mitchell. Also on staff, we have a Bookeeper Cynthia Younger and a resident Speech Pathologist, Thelma Pierce. I have been afforded the benefit of working with a very unique and cohesive staff. We all work exceptionally well together, and quite seamlessly. This core team is what allowas Circletime to have not only an exceptional curriculum (with a specialized platform in literacy).
Here at Circletime, our students also have the benefit of Spanish lessons, year-round field trips, and weekly speech pathology consultations. I have always had a profound and deep love for children with their innocence, resilience and outlook on life. One awesome aspect of having been in childcare for so long, is working with the children of some of my former students. This always puts me in awe that they want to put their own children in my care, just as I once cared for them.
