About
The Grosse Pointe Academy (GPA) is a historic, independent day school in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan serving students age 2.5 yrs through Grade 8. At GPA, you will find students who are supported, held to high educational standards, and encouraged to explore their passions. Our small class sizes ensure that each student receives the individualized attention they need to succeed.
We are committed to building a strong foundation of content knowledge for our students and curating programs that apply their learning to real-world contexts. These experiences cultivate a deeper understanding of the world, help them develop higher order thinking skills like problem-solving and critical thinking, and embrace habits of success like grit, resilience and self-efficacy.
At the Academy, each student can thrive in an environment where they are nurtured, challenged, and inspired to become the architects and builders of the future.
