Count On Me Academy - Kansas City

Count On Me Academy serves families in Kansas City, MO with early childhood education that supports each child’s academic, social, emotional, and physical development. Owned and directed by Maria Kirkpatrick, the academy uses The Creative Curriculum® for infants, toddlers, two-year-olds, and preschoolers, a research-based program aligned with Head Start Early Learning and state standards. Educators assess individual progress to build on strengths and provide targeted support, using hands-on, investigative projects and both small- and large-group learning.

Programs include care for infants (3–12 months), toddlers (12–24 months), two-year-olds, and preschoolers (ages 3–5). A seasonal School Age Summer Program serves children ages 5–10. Family partnership is central to the program: through Procare Solutions, parents receive live updates, photos, and daily reports, and can message educators directly to stay connected to classroom activities.

Student and staff safety is prioritized through daily sanitation routines and adherence to federal, state, and local health guidelines. The owner-director remains actively involved in day-to-day operations to maintain consistent standards of care and communication.
