First Impressions Academy

First Impressions Academy is a private school in Fayetteville, NC, founded in 2008. It serves students from preschool through eighth grade, offering preschool, kindergarten–5th grade, and a STEM-focused middle school for grades 6–8. Class sizes are small, and classrooms are led by degreed, trained teachers. Instruction is differentiated to match each student’s pace, with a focus on strong academics as well as social and behavioral development. We will be opening a High school in Fall of 2027,

Students can participate in clubs, activities, and summer camps to extend learning beyond the classroom. The academy encourages parent involvement and provides a structured, supportive environment. First Impressions Academy accepts the Opportunity Scholarship and ESA+ from the North Carolina State Education Assistance Authority for eligible families. Founded by educator Christy Pettit, the school began as a preschool and expanded grade by grade to its current preschool–middle school pathway. Located in Fayetteville, it serves families seeking individualized attention and a consistent educational experience from early childhood through middle school.
