Back Porch Playgroup Outdoor Preschool

Back Porch Playgroup Outdoor Preschool is an outdoor preschool nurturing empathy and imagination through play in southwest Raleigh. Our space includes a fenced forested backyard and huge screen porch where we offer Reggio-inspired invitations for play with an emphasis on social-emotional growth. We spend hours swinging, looking for bugs, digging sand, cooking in the mud kitchen, reading books and making art.

We foster inclusion of neurodiversity and abilities. We are secular, LGBTQ+ affirming, anti-racist and celebrate the diversity of our community and world.
