Teach Peace Preschool & Childcare is an early childhood program in Lincoln, Nebraska, founded in 2025 and located within the Unitarian Church of Lincoln at 6300 A Street. The center serves children ages 18 months to 6 years (pre-kindergarten) with full-day care, Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and a part-day preschool option from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. In a small, close‑knit setting, educators provide personalized attention and build consistent relationships with each child.
The program is child-centered and relationship-based, emphasizing hands‑on exploration and purposeful play to build independence, curiosity, and creativity. Social‑emotional learning is integrated throughout the day, with guidance that helps children recognize feelings, communicate respectfully, and practice empathy.
