Little L.A.M.B. Preschool is a nonprofit special education preschool in Staten Island, NY, founded in 1995. The school serves children ages 3–5 with bilingual (Spanish and English) early childhood education and clinical supports, with all services and meals provided at no cost to parents. Little L.A.M.B. holds an Absolute Charter and certification from the New York State Education Department and is licensed by the New York City Department of Health.
Programs include full-day classes, indoor and outdoor play spaces, and a developmentally appropriate curriculum informed by continuous, authentic assessment and quarterly report cards. Educational services are delivered by experienced, certified bilingual special education teachers and teacher assistants. Clinical services include speech and language pathology, occupational therapy, and physical therapy, supported by an on-site registered school nurse.
The school offers a multidisciplinary evaluation team and Special Education Itinerant Teacher (SEIT) services. Parents who suspect developmental delays in language, behavior, or movement are encouraged to seek an evaluation.
