About
Cathedral Parkway Towers Preschool is an early childhood program on Manhattan’s Upper West Side serving children ages 2–5. Located at 125 W 109th Street, Suite #3, New York, NY 10025, it offers Two’s, 3K, and Pre‑K options through a Toddler Program (24–36 months), a Preschool Program (36 months to 5 years), and a Summer Program for ages 2–5. The school follows The Creative Curriculum for Preschool, a play‑based, child‑centered framework that supports social‑emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development. Teachers adapt learning experiences to children’s interests and use ongoing observations and assessments to communicate progress to families. Instruction spans literacy, math, science, social skills, and the arts, with an emphasis on process‑focused exploration in the classroom. The program promotes autonomy, a sense of belonging, respect for others, and enthusiasm for exploration, principles that have guided the school for more than 40 years. School hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The program is led by Director Beatrice Moncrease with administrative support from Tatyana Heras.
