Little Lites Christian Learning Center is a faith-based early childhood and elementary program in Reno, NV, founded in 2006. The center serves children ages 0–7 through infant and toddler care, early education and preschool, a private Kindergarten and First Grade, and elementary camps. Instruction integrates Christian teaching with developmentally appropriate academics and play, aiming to prepare students spiritually, emotionally, cognitively, and relationally. The private Kindergarten uses the Abeka curriculum and includes before- and after-school care. Families are supported with care during Washoe County School District breaks, delayed starts, and snow days.
Little Lites operates as a ministry of Hillside Foursquare Church and uses both mobile classrooms within the church sanctuary and purpose-built classrooms throughout the facility. Safety measures include secured, pass-code-protected entrances and regular fire and emergency evacuation drills. Daily routines feature outdoor activities such as climbing, biking, and obstacle courses, along with learning centers that foster creativity, problem-solving, and pattern recognition. Social and emotional skills are taught alongside worship, prayer, and Bible stories. An experienced leadership team oversees instruction and program quality.
