About
Tic Tac Daycare, founded in 2006, is a Brooklyn, NY early childhood center serving infants as young as 6 weeks through preschool age. The center operates multiple classrooms—Blue, Yellow, Pink, Green, Orange, and Purple—across Joralemon Street, Court Street, Baltic Street, and Smith Street. Programs include daycare (ages 6 weeks to 3.5 years) and preschool (ages 2 to 4.5 years), with hours Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The curriculum emphasizes problem solving, discovery, and independent thinking while supporting social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth. Weekly enrichment includes dance, sign language, music, Spanish, French, yoga, art and crafts, cooking, science, history, dramatic play, and communication skills.
Health and safety policies align with New York City Department of Health guidance, including illness exclusion, current immunizations, frequent handwashing, and routine cleaning. COVID-19 protocols are maintained in line with current regulations. Enrollment requires completed registration forms and a physician-signed medical form; a security deposit is required to hold a spot. The center does not provide a food program—families supply formula, milk, and meals, and all items must be labeled. Bottle propping is prohibited, and infants who cannot sit independently are not placed in highchairs. Classrooms are structured to provide age-appropriate routines and learning indoors and outdoors.
