About
Little Learners Child Development Center, LTD serves families in Canton, OH with three locations and has operated since 1998, when it was founded by Michelle Prestier following her 1994 home daycare. The center provides care for infants through age 13 with non-traditional hours, Saturday care, and hours extending past midnight. Programs include age-specific infant rooms, toddler classrooms, a structured preschool focused on kindergarten readiness, and school-age care with homework assistance. A seasonal summer camp features field trips and planned activities, with additional fees as noted.
The program emphasizes whole-child development through a blend of child-initiated and teacher-directed activities, small group sizes, consistent caregivers, and play-based learning to support academic, social, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth. As part of the Child and Adult Food program, the center serves balanced meals, including breakfast, hot lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, and evening snack; infants receive formula and jar food at no cost.
Security measures include controlled entry with keypad and biometric fingerprint systems, along with audio and video monitoring during operating hours. Families are welcome to tour any location without an appointment.
