Christ United Methodist Preschool / Childcare

Christ Church Preschool-Childcare is a private-pay early learning center within Christ Church in Kettering, Ohio, serving the greater Dayton area for nearly 60 years. The center holds a Gold rating through Step Up to Quality and partners with Preschool Promise. It offers a preschool program for children ages 3–5 and childcare for children from 6 weeks through preschool age.

The program integrates The Creative Curriculum and Conscious Discipline to support hands-on exploration, social-emotional growth, and school readiness in a safe, connected environment. The center provides a nurturing, Christian atmosphere and welcomes families of all faiths, races, creeds, and ethnic backgrounds.

Teachers are college graduates in Education or related fields and complete ongoing professional development aligned with Step Up to Quality and ODJFS requirements. All staff maintain certifications in First Aid, CPR/AED, Communicable Disease, and Child Abuse Recognition. Christ Church Preschool-Childcare also partners with local providers to offer extracurricular enrichment, including Soccer Shots and WEBBY Dance, Gymnastics & Ninja Fitness.
