About Home Sweet Home Preschool & Child Care
Founded in 1994, Home Sweet Home Preschool & Child Care has been my heart, my mission, and my life’s work for over 30 years. Serving families in Beaverton, Oregon and the surrounding areas, we’ve created a place where children feel loved, supported, and excited to learn every single day.
What started as a simple dream has grown into a warm, welcoming program that truly feels like family. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of caring for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children—watching them grow, thrive, and discover who they are.
At Home Sweet Home, we believe in balance. Our days include a mix of child-led exploration and meaningful, teacher-guided activities, giving little ones the freedom to be curious while also offering structure that helps them learn and feel safe. We focus on nurturing the whole child—their physical development, social skills, emotional well-being, creativity, and early academics.
As a fully licensed child care program, families trust us for our long-standing reputation of consistent, high-quality care. But more than that, they trust us because we love their children like our own. This is a place where every child is seen, valued, and celebrated.
After three decades in this field, I can honestly say: there is nothing more rewarding than helping children feel confident, capable, and cared for. Home Sweet Home has been part of hundreds of families’ stories—and I’m so grateful to continue that legacy today.
