Purpose Point Learning Academy in Chattanooga, TN, provides development-focused early learning for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. The program offers a nurturing, safe, and positive environment with a child-centered approach that builds school readiness alongside social and emotional development. Supported by community partners, the academy engages families, qualified educators, and service providers in each child’s learning.
The model combines consistent daily routines with play-based, movement-focused activities, print-rich classrooms, and regular developmental screenings. Purpose Point Learning Academy is led by Executive Director Ellwanda White, a former Field Supervisor for Child and Adult Care Licensing with a B.S. from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and involvement in professional early-childhood associations. The center is committed to expanding access to high-quality early childhood seats where they are most needed in the community.
