La Tribu Rural, founded in 2015 and based in Austin, Texas, is a nature-based, Montessori, Spanish-immersion preschool. The school blends Montessori principles with Spanish immersion and nature-based exploration. Children engage with Hispanophone cultures through music, authentic cuisine, national holidays, and gardening, giving language meaningful context. Programs include the Young Children’s Community and the Children’s House, supported by lower class ratios and bilingual guides. The curriculum emphasizes practical life skills, early academics, social-emotional development, and environmental stewardship. Family partnerships and community activities reinforce learning beyond the classroom.
