Arlington Heights United Methodist Church (AHUMC) is a United Methodist congregation in Fort Worth, Texas, located at 4200 Camp Bowie Blvd in the city’s Arts District. The church welcomes people of all backgrounds to participate in worship, discipleship, missions, and fellowship.
AHUMC offers two Sunday worship experiences. Traditional Worship meets in the Sanctuary at 8:30 and 11:00 a.m., featuring hymns, a pipe organ, and music from the Chancel Choir, Bell Conte Ringers (handbell choir), and Children’s/Junior Choirs. Communion is served weekly at 8:30 and on the first Sunday of the month at 11:00. The Encounter service begins at 11:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall with a casual, intergenerational format, passionate music, a children’s sermon, a designated activity area for kids, and weekly communion. Online worship and special events are also available.
Year-round ministries include groups for children, students, and adults; discipleship and small groups; a Prayer Room; Congregational Care; and community outreach such as the Refugee Ministry and Pack A Sack. AHUMC is home to Haupt Preschool & Mother’s Day Out and offers kids’ summer camps. The campus features a notable 14‑foot Rose Window by Homer Rusk Sr. depicting the Twelve Apostles. The church’s mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
