Just Kids Preschool in Lubbock, Texas, is a ministry of Sunset Church of Christ offering a Christ-centered early childhood program focused on school readiness, biblical principles, and respect for self and others. Classes run August through May on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Small classes with two teachers in every room and active parent–teacher involvement support a safe, attentive learning environment.
Optional extended care is available: 7:45–8:45 a.m. ($35/month per child), 3:00–4:15 p.m. ($35/month per child), or 3:00–5:15 p.m. ($70/month per child). Drop-in extended care is offered at $5 per hour per child or $10 for two hours. Tuition is $185 per month on a nine-month schedule. Enrollment requires a completed form and a non-refundable $100 registration fee to reserve a spot; a waiting list is started when classes are full.
The preschool plans educational activities such as field trips, special days, and guest visitors. An illness policy asks that children with fever or contagious conditions remain at home until able to fully participate. Just Kids operates under the supervision of the Sunset Church of Christ elders and ministry directors, with Carolyn Wright as director and Alex Linscomb as assistant director.
