About
Covey, based in Oshkosh, WI, is a nonprofit serving Wisconsin’s greater Fox Valley since 1954. The organization supports individuals with disabilities and their families through a continuum of services that include respite care, residential options, adult day services, and community engagement. Respite is offered both in-home and out-of-home at a dedicated respite house. Adult day services are community-based and individualized to each participant’s goals and interests. Additional programs include Adult Family Homes, skill-building classes, social and virtual activities through Covey Connects, volunteering opportunities, special events, and the iCan Shine Bike Camp.
Covey primarily serves adults ages 18–64 and also offers select youth programming through events and camps. As a United Way partner agency, the organization operates with a focus on inclusion, integrity, individuality, and imagination. Programs are designed to build skills, expand social connections, and increase community participation. Covey collaborates with families and community partners to tailor supports that meet each person’s needs and help them engage fully as contributing members of the community.
